Product development

At Plastiques Gagnon, we take care of product development — however complex — for customers from all kinds of sectors. Our approach is simple, quick, and efficient. Our interconnected turnkey service lets us make superior quality components, cutting out middlemen and reducing delays and production costs in the process.

 

  1. Product design and optimization
    We assign an engineer to every customer. Our engineers’ know-how and sound knowledge of technopolymers, molds, and fabrication methods allow them to analyze and come up with cost and time estimates, in collaboration with customers.
  2. Mold fabrication
    Our Engineering Department takes care of developing molds by studying part specifications and applications to decide which raw materials to use.
  3. Mold optimization
    All our molds are tested and adjusted until they conform to specs and show proven performance. This lets us produce parts that meet our customers’ technical specifications.
  4. Production
    Our molds are subject to quality control and meticulous monitoring, with each lot systematically checked and sampled at every stage of the production process. Our Quality Control Department works around the clock to ensure that our inspection plans are respected in full, right through to packaging and delivery.
