Imagine a world where precision is measured in microns and every detail matters. That’s exactly where micro-molding takes center stage.
Unlike its bigger counterpart, conventional injection molding, this advanced technology goes far beyond producing standard plastic parts. It pushes the boundaries of what’s possible by creating microscopic components with astonishing precision—often smaller than a grain of rice.
See the difference for yourself.

As a major expansion project at its Saint-Jean-Port-Joli headquarters comes to completion, Plastiques Gagnon is moving forward with the construction of a new 35,000 sq. ft. facility in Levis. The objective is to replace and expand the premises currently used following the recent acquisition of Quéplast.
This new facility is part of an ambitious four-year investment plan that has already resulted in a 100% increase in production capacity. The new construction alone will generate an additional 20% increase in capacity and will support greater involvement in emerging sectors such as transportation electrification.

Plastiques Gagnon of St-Jean-Port-Joli acquired Queplast Injection in March 2021. Founded through a partnership with Plastiques Gagnon in 1997, the company is located in St-Romuald and specializes in the manufacturing of injection-molded plastic parts. The integration of Queplast Injection into the Plastiques Gagnon family was a natural step, as both companies share the same values and the same high standards of quality and service.
This acquisition propels Plastiques Gagnon into the top ranks of Quebec’s small and medium-tonnage injection molding manufacturers, with 56 presses ranging from 20 to 720 tons. The company can now rely on an experienced team of more than 230 employees. This expansion provides access to new markets, including electronics and the medical sector. Quéplast Injection also features an ISO 7 clean room and specializes in the production of small components using micro-injection processes, achieving dimensional tolerances of ±9 microns.
