For over 65 years, Plastiques Gagnon has supported industrial manufacturers in developing reliable, durable plastic injection solutions designed for demanding environments.

From modest beginnings, the company gradually expanded its scope by leveraging its technical expertise to produce essential components—both functional and aesthetic.

Over the decades, this evolution has been driven by continuous innovation, mastery of advanced processes, and industrial capabilities able to support complex, large-scale production programs.

Today, Plastiques Gagnon stands out for its performance-driven vision, consistency, and long-term partnership approach across a wide range of industries.

From a small workshop in the 1950s to the modern company it is today, Plastiques Gagnon has built a story defined by passion, expertise, and growth.

Now led by the third generation, Plastiques Gagnon embodies a strong sense of family continuity that shapes its identity. Each chapter of its journey reflects a commitment to transforming plastic into practical solutions, while remaining true to its core values of innovation and sustainability.

1950: Humble beginnings as a small-scale plastic parts manufacturer.

1958: Joe and his son Jean-Marie establish Jos Gagnon & Fils — laying the foundation for what would become Plastiques Gagnon.

1964: A strategic shift toward industrial manufacturing as the company begins supplying components to a growing number of snowmobile manufacturers.

1988: The company strategically divests its mold manufacturing division, while preserving its core expertise.

1989: Leadership transitions to the third generation of the family — François, Jean, and Monika.

1996: The company achieves ISO 9001 certification.

2019: Significant expansion of the St-Jean-Port-Joli plant to support increasing market demand.

2021: Strategic acquisition of Quéplast Injection, a specialist in micro-injection technologies.

2024: Construction of a new 35,000 sq. ft. facility to relocate and strengthen the Lévis division.
