OPERATOR – MOLDED PARTS PRODUCTION (NIGHT SHIFT)

Summary Description
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for producing molded plastic parts and performing simple component assemblies, in accordance with quality standards and the requirements defined in the control plan.
Specific Job Duties
- At the start of the shift, review work documents and ensure proper information transfer with the previous operator
- Operate five types of injection presses: fixed presses, automatic presses, ball presses, assembly presses, and combined fixed/assembly presses
- Perform rounds on peripheral equipment
- Ensure product quantity and quality meet management and control documentation standards, and complete required records
- Maintain a clean workspace and follow occupational health and safety guidelines to eliminate risks
- Communicate production specifics to the next operator at the end of the shift and enter production data into the computer system
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and special projects
- Perform any other related tasks as requested by the immediate supervisor
